Heimtextil with more Exhibitors, Domotex with Visitors Plus
The traditional start to the year
in the fair calendar 2012 Heimtextil closed with a slight exhibitor
increase of 2.4% (2634 companies from 61 countries). In particular
the domestic exhibitors assessed the results of their participation
with 84% successful and very successful; unanimous also the satisfaction
of the visitors: 92% were satisfied or very satisfied with the exhibitor's

numbers, design highlights at every turn, and a consistently positive
mood in the halls", was the conclusion about Domotex of Dr.
Andreas Gruchow, member of the Management Board of Deutsche Messe
AG, at the evening of the last day of the fair. DOMOTEX has scored
well with the right issues, implemented successfully new concepts
and strengthened well with the main theme "Customized Living"

According to customs statistics, in October of 2011, China's textile and apparel trade reached 21.53 billion U.S. dollars, up 11.1%, in which exports $ 19.65 billion, a year on year increase of 10.4%, yet a month on month decline of 14.5%; imports $ 1.88 billion, an increase of 19.6%, a month on month decline of 7.8%. From January to October period, China's textile and apparel trade reached 224.77 billion U.S. dollars, up 22.3%, exports 205.82 billion U.S. dollars, up 22.8%, and imports $ 18.95 billion, up 17.1%.
